Audi has revealed the first images of the new electric crossover

Audi has revealed sketches of a new work compact electric SUV Q4 e-tron. Premiere of the concept will take place at the Geneva motor show, which will be held from 7 to 17 March of this year, and the debut of the production version is scheduled for late 2020 – early 2021.

The exterior of the crossover consistent with the current corporate identity of the brand. For example, the front end is reminiscent of the flagship Q8. Electric cars have similar octagonal radiator grille, framed by massive intakes, and narrow led headlights with many segments-cells. Information about the power plant the manufacturer has not yet disclose. Perhaps for Q4 e-tron adapt the actuator from the production e-tron, consisting of two electric motors with a total output of 360 horsepower and 561 Nm of torque. The range on a single charge, the new crossover must be no less than 400 miles on the WLTP cycle.

In November last year at the motor show in Los Angeles Audi debuts all-electric “four-door coupe” e-tron GT. 590-horsepower, show car built in cooperation with Porsche, got four-wheel drive with individual traction control on each wheel and a multistage system recovery from the serial crossover e-tron.
