Volkswagen has declassified the “charged” version of the small crossover T-Roc R. this Model gets a 300-horsepower engine, steering with progressive characteristics, “racing” mode of operation of the control electronics and titanium exhaust Akrapovic.
Volkswagen T-Roc R drives the two-liter “turboservice” from the Golf R, the capacity of which is 300 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. It is combined with a 4MOTION all-wheel drive and seven-step “robot” DSG. First “hundred” crossover exchanges already in 4.9 seconds (Golf R is faster by 0.2 seconds), and its maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 kilometers per hour.
T-Roc R comes with a lowered suspension, brakes from Volkswagen Golf R Performance steering with progressive characteristics, mode selector movement with a special “racing” profile of the electronics. Among the options: leather interior trim and “carbon”, 19-inch wheels (18-inch) and a titanium Akrapovic exhaust system.
To distinguish the R version from the usual can be modified grille trim lower part of anodized aluminum, the R logos on the fenders, aggressive bumpers, four exhaust pipes, extended wheel arches. Inside the crossover sports steering wheel, stainless steel pedals and seat trim microfiber ArtVelours.
Public premiere of the Volkswagen T-Roc R will take place at the Geneva motor show.
