British Lister Motor Co., specializing in the construction and retrospection charged vehicles based on Jaguar intends to release a modern version of the iconic Knobbly Speedster from the 50s. this was announced by the head and co-owner of Lawrence Whittaker in his Twitter.
Whittaker has posted a picture for the first time and said that the company is now actively working on the concept. No further information about the convertible not reported. Judging by the picture, the new Knobbly will retain the shape of the source, but it will be done in a completely different way with a large number of sharp edges.
Racing Lister Knobbly was produced in the 50-ies of the last century. In 2017, the company said it will resume production of sports cars and gather another 10 instances with a tolerance on the normal road. Like the original, “resumed” Knobbly is a tubular frame and aluminium panels, made on technologies of the twentieth century. Engines — six-cylinder Jaguar working volume 4.2 (354 horsepower) and 3.8 (334 HP) liter.
Last year, Lister has shown the “fastest SUV in the world” — Lister LFP on the basis of the Jaguar F-Pace SVR. It is equipped with an upgraded five-liter compressor “eight”, which gives about 680 forces. The maximum speed Lister LFP is 322 kilometers per hour. Acceleration from zero to 60 mph (97 km / h) takes 3.5 seconds.
