Koenigsegg set a new record speed of over 447 km/h

Swedish hypercar manufacturer Koenigsegg intends to improve its own speed record set Agera RS on the highway near the American village Pahrump in Nevada last fall. Make a plan using the modified will the Regera.

The Supercar Blog reports that Koenigsegg is working on a new firmware which is for a second will improve acceleration “Regere” and will move the speed limiter outside of the passport of 410 kilometers per hour. Claimed acceleration hybrid 0-400 kph in 20 seconds and the Agera RS — 26,85 seconds.

The movement “the Rager” leads hybrid propulsion system consisting of twin-turbo 5.0 V8, three electric motors and a unique transmission Koenigsegg Direct Drive (KDD), which is a hydraulic coupler with variable degree of slippage and the main transmission with a constant gear ratio of 2.73:1. The total efficiency of the unit is 1500 HP and 2000 Nm of torque. From a place to hundred kilometers per hour Regera accelerates in 2.8 seconds.

In November last year, a 1360-horsepower Koenigsegg Arera RS set several records. Dvuhdverka clocked up 447 miles per hour and became the fastest production car and improved his record for the fastest acceleration from zero to 400 kilometers per hour with the subsequent complete stop.
